What is term-time only pay and how is it worked out?
Term-time only pay is a full-time salary reduced for your hours and the weeks you're paid for. The usual formula is: full-time salary × (your hours ÷ 37) × (paid weeks ÷ 52.143).

Detail
"Paid weeks" are the weeks you work (usually around 39) plus your holiday entitlement, so typically 43–44. The result is split into 12 monthly payments. Example: £26,427 full-time × (32.5 ÷ 37) × (43.6 ÷ 52.143) = about £19,410 a year. Councils and trusts use slightly different paid-week figures, so two jobs on the same grade can pay a little differently.
