As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner you will be supporting children's learning, this includes working with individuals, groups and whole classes using your extensive knowledge, experience and specialist skills/training. Use your expertise to provide appropriate support to all children, contributing to creating a pleasant and appropriate learning environment for each and every child in your care. You must be familiar and confident in the planning & delivery of the Early Years Curriculum, contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of children's day-to-day responses to learning activities using a range of assessment and monitoring strategies. Key Responsibilities: • Providing high quality pastoral and academic support to pupils within a school and nursery environment. • Assisted in fostering a positive, nurturing learning environment by implementing relevant behaviour management strategies in line with school and nursery policies. • Providing relevant support to children, assisting them with in achieving individual learning goals. This can be through both 1:1, small groups and whole class work. • Contributing to the implementation of the Early Years curriculum; planning, evaluating and implementing learning alongside the class teacher. • Promote and safeguard the welfare of every child at all times.
