These terms govern your use of SchoolJobs.uk. By using the site you agree to them. Separate terms apply to employers (see employer terms) and candidates (see candidate terms).

Using the site

You may browse jobs and content for personal, non-commercial use. Scraping, republishing our directory data, or reverse-engineering the service is not permitted without written permission.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity carried out under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Content

Vacancy content is provided by schools, trusts and agencies (or aggregated from public feeds). We take reasonable steps to check quality but do not guarantee accuracy, and we are not the employer.

Applications

Eligible vacancies are applied for on SchoolJobs.uk. Where the employer has verified its account, we deliver your application to it and their handling of your data is then governed by their own privacy notice. Where the employer has not yet verified, your application is received and held securely by us until it can be delivered — it is never lost, and its success does not depend on any onward email being read. A small number of listings link out to an employer or agency site instead, and we say so on the listing.

Prohibited use

Posting misleading, discriminatory or unlawful vacancies.
Impersonating a school, trust or agency.
Uploading malware or attempting to disrupt the service.
Harvesting personal data.

Paid products

Most of SchoolJobs.uk is free: browsing, applying, registering a CV, and posting a genuine vacancy as a direct education employer. One optional paid product exists for organisations today — a Featured Job promotion. Recruitment agencies pay to advertise, under a separate commercial agreement. The commercial terms, including refunds and acceptable use, are set out in our employer terms, and prices are shown on our pricing page. We are not VAT registered, so the price shown is the total charged.

Who you are buying from

School Jobs UK is a trading name operating from 53B Hanbury Street, Spitalfields, London E1 5JP, United Kingdom. It is not a registered limited company and is not VAT registered. Purchase queries: send a support request from our contact page.

Liability

We provide the site “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
