Our career advice, salary guides and role explainers aim to be accurate, useful and independent. This policy explains how we produce and maintain them.
Editorial independence
Content is written independently of advertisers, employers and agencies. Sponsored placements — if ever used — are clearly labelled as such.
Sources & expertise
- Statistics come from the Department for Education, ONS, StatsWales, Scottish Government, Department of Education NI and other official sources.
- Salary ranges are triangulated from job posting data, national pay scales (STPCD, SNCT) and reputable industry reports.
- Practitioner insight is provided by named authors with UK education experience.
Review & updates
Articles are reviewed at least annually and when pay awards, statutory guidance or curriculum changes take effect. Each article shows an author and last-updated date.
Corrections
If you spot an error, email editorial@schooljobs.uk. We correct promptly and note material changes.
AI use
We may use AI tools to draft outlines, summarise sources or check readability. All published content is reviewed and approved by a human editor.
