Key Responsibilities * Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs * Teach pupils with ASC, SEMH and complex learning needs * Create a structured, supportive and inclusive classroom environment * Assess progress using appropriate SEN assessment methods * Develop and review EHCP led targets * Lead and support teaching assistants and support staff * Work collaboratively with therapists, families and external agencies * Maintain high standards of safeguarding and behaviour management The successful candidate will: * Hold Qualified Teacher Status * Have proven experience working within specialist SEN schools * Be confident teaching pupils with a range of additional needs * Demonstrate a flexible and reflective approach to teaching * Be calm, patient and resilient in challenging situations * Support a child centred and inclusive ethos Additional qualifications or training related to SEN, such as autism education, SEMH practice or behaviour support, are beneficial but not essential. The school is ideally seeking a full time teacher working Monday to Friday during term time. However, flexibility on working pattern will be considered for the right candidate.
