Position: Art Teacher Location: Shrewsbury Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 Art Teaching Role in an Independent School A prestigious Independent School in Shrewsbury is seeking to appoint a talented and creative Art Teacher to join its thriving Art and Design department from September. About the Role You will teach Art across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering inspiring lessons that nurture creativity and artistic expression. Students engage with a broad curriculum that includes drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, photography, and contemporary digital practices. You will support learners in developing strong practical skills while encouraging critical analysis and appreciation of historical and contemporary artists. The successful candidate will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Art examinations, supporting the creation of exceptional portfolios and exhibition work. You will also contribute to the wider creative life of the school through exhibitions, competitions, gallery visits, and enrichment opportunities.
