Chef Lecturer Greater Manchester £30-37 per hour START DATES: September 2026 for 2 months (could be longer) Morgan Hunt are recruiting a Chef Lecturer delivering BTEC level 2 and 3 culinary skills and professional cookery at an FE College in Greater Manchester for September 2026 Chef Lecturer Basic Job Description • September 2026 start date for the new academic year • Full time (37.5 hours per week) • Estimated contract length to be 2 months for a member of staff having operation • Teaching level 2 and 3 in professional cookery and culinary skills • £30-37 pound per hour • FE College in Greater Manchester • Must have DBS on the update service • Must have Professional cookery or culinary skills or equivalent level 2 and 3 qualifcations • Must have a teaching qualification such as PGCE, PGCE, CERT ED, QTS etc to level 5 • Looking for a back of house, kitchen experience, not front of house hospitality Responsibilities of this role as a Chef Lecturer: • Working in the Catering and Hospitality Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet the College's standards of work • Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required • Delivering BTEC professional cookery and culinary skills to level 2 and 3 Requirements of this role as a Chef Lecturer: • A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent is essential • Experience of delivering the subject. • Professional cookery or culinary skills or similar related qualifications is essential • A current DBS on the update serviceAPPLY HERETHE ROLE WILL GO FAST Morgan Hunt is a multi-award-winning recruitment Business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to temporary vacancies.
