Special Needs Classroom Assistant Sunderland Weekly pay available Full-time / Part-time options Do you want to work in a role where you can genuinely change lives? Protocol Education is recruiting a Special Needs Classroom Assistant to support pupils in a specialist provision in Sunderland. The school supports learners with autism, sensory needs and complex learning difficulties, delivering personalised learning in a structured and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: • Support classroom routines and structured learning • Encourage positive social interaction • Assist with sensory and regulation breaks • Promote independence and self-help skills • Provide a safe and engaging learning environment Ideal Candidate: • Compassionate and reliable • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment • SEND experience beneficial but not essential • Open to training and development Whether you are experienced in education or looking to transition into SEND, this could be the perfect opportunity. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
