If so, we would love to hear from you! We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join the team at Blythe Bridge High School in Stoke-on-Trent. We welcome applications from experienced Cover Supervisors as well as individuals with transferable skills and experience, such as sports coaches, youth workers, teaching assistants, mentors, and community leaders. As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher. Ensuring students complete the work that has been set and remain focused on their learning. Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment. Supporting students with their work and providing guidance where appropriate. Reporting any concerns or issues to the relevant members of staff. Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. Assisting with general classroom activities as required. Requirements: Experience: Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting. Enhanced DBS: Registered on the Update Service, or willing to apply for one. Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills. Adaptability: Ability to work confidently across different subjects and classroom environments.
