Cover Supervisor – Great Barr Are you an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor looking for your next opportunity in a supportive secondary school? Winner Education are working with a secondary school in the Great Barr area who are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring students remain engaged and on task in the absence of their usual teacher. What You'll Do: • Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff • Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain focused on their work • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment • Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour • Support the wider school team where required What We're Looking For: • Previous experience working in a UK secondary school as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or similar role • Confident managing classrooms across a range of subjects • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent behaviour management skills • The ability to work independently and adapt to different classroom environments • A degree or relevant education experience is desirable but not essential Why Winner Education? • PAYE payroll – no umbrella companies • Competitive daily rates and long-term placements • Up to £200 referral bonus for teacher and TA recommendations • Free CPD courses and ongoing support • Dedicated consultant with years of experience supporting education staff Call Pav on 07494 741082 to apply today.
