Music & Drama Teacher (KS3 & KS4) Kirklees | September - December Contract | Secondary School Inspire creativity. Build confidence. Bring the arts to life. A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Kirklees is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music & Drama Teacher to join their team from September until December. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make an immediate impact, delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 and nurturing students' creative talents. Whether you're an experienced teacher or a confident ECT, we're looking for someone who can inspire a love of performing arts while maintaining high expectations in the classroom. The Role You will be responsible for: Teaching Music and Drama across KS3 and KS4.
Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons.
Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress.
Creating a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
Contributing to the wider life of the department and school where appropriate. The Ideal Candidate Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching Music and/or Drama at secondary level.
Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
Is passionate about the performing arts and inspiring young people.
Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
