Primary ECT - Newark, Nottinghamshire - September 2026 Job Title: Primary Early Career Teacher (ECT) Location: Primary schools across Newark, Nottinghamshire Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Temporary Employer: Academics (acting as a recruitment agency) Are you a passionate Primary ECT ready to begin your teaching career in September 2026? Academics is working with a range of welcoming primary schools across Newark, offering flexible temporary opportunities to help you gain valuable classroom experience, complete your induction and discover the year group that's right for you. To be considered for this Primary ECT role, you will need: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS before September 2026. • A genuine passion for primary education. • Excellent communication and classroom management skills. • An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one. • The right to work in the UK.
