This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role for your induction year, with the school intending to offer a permanent contract from August 2027. Whether you feel most confident teaching Year 3, 4, 5 or 6, the school is happy to discuss the most suitable placement to help you flourish during your first year in the classroom. The Role As a KS2 ECT, you will: • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning. • Create a positive classroom environment where pupils feel supported and challenged. • Assess progress and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners. • Work closely with experienced colleagues and year group partners. • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school community. • Take part in a structured ECT programme with dedicated mentoring. The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who: • Is completing, or has recently completed, a PGCE with QTS. • Is excited to begin their ECT induction in Key Stage 2. • Demonstrates strong classroom practice and excellent subject knowledge. • Has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn from experienced teachers. • Can motivate pupils and build meaningful relationships. • Is committed to delivering high-quality education and becoming an active member of the school community.
