About the role

Advert Early Years Lead Practitioner Firth Primary School 14 hours per week, Term Time Permanent £35,553 - £38,309 pro rata £19.48 - £20.99 per hour The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance. You will be reporting to the Head Teacher. Your working pattern is Thursday and Friday. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who would enjoy being part of a dynamic whole-school team to help deliver flexible, high quality care and learning service that meets the needs of young children and their families. The necessary qualification, experience and skills required for this role are detailed in the ‘must have’ section of the attached job profile. These criteria are used for decisions on shortlisting and appointment of applicants. You are required to register with the SSSC as a Practitioner (Day Care of Children) no later than 3 months from commencing in post. This post is a regulated role with children and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership. Applications close at 23:59 on Sunday 9 August 2026.
