Full time - 40 hours
Salary up to £29.500k

JOB PURPOSE:
The Nursery Teacher is a qualified childcare professional with
responsibility for the ensuring the day to day practice within
their room as part of a team. They perform an important role
caring for children, maintaining a high-quality, stimulating
learning environment, working as a team and imparting their
knowledge and skills to others. They are creative and reflective
practitioners able to implement new ideas and use a range of
strategies to continually improve practice and support their
room leader
Purpose of post:
✓ Ensuring a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual education and
care for children in the nursery.
✓ To support the aims and objectives of the nursery and assist the proprietor in the
organisation of a high quality establishment for children from 2 years to 5 years.
✓ To provide a Montessori environment for the children
✓ To provide high standards of childcare and education – this includes providing a safe,
caring environment to enable the emotional, social and educational development of
children, through individual attention and group activities.
