EYFS TEACHER Location: Aylesbury Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent Salary: £29,344 – £44,919 Early childhood development lays the foundation for lifelong learning. Structured teaching fosters strong beginnings. Role Overview As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting early learning through engaging, structured play, phonics instruction, and consistent routines. Your work will help children develop essential skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional growth within a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver the EYFS curriculum effectively Teach phonics and early literacy skills Support the development of early mathematics abilities Maintain structured, routine-based learning environments Monitor and track children’s development and progress Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs Classroom Environment Structured and nurturing atmosphere Consistent routines to support learning Calm and supportive setting Focused on holistic child development Skills and Experience Experience in EYFS or early years education Strong knowledge of phonics teaching Patient and nurturing approach Excellent organisational and planning skills What Success Looks Like Children develop key foundational skills Increased confidence among pupils Strong and lasting learning foundations established Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, but applications from unqualified teachers are welcomed.
