Academics is currently seeking an innovative and nurturing Early Years Teacher to join a highly supportive primary school situated in the Birkenhead area . "The early years lay the foundation for a child's entire educational journey - we are seeking an educator who makes those first steps count." This long-term post pays according to the Main Pay Scale (MPS) and is ideal for an educator who excels in setting up rich learning environments and tracking EYFS milestones. Should you prefer immediate, flexible work or be open to day-to-day cover while permanent placements are finalized, we also offer a competitive supply rate. Core Responsibilities In your role as an Early Years Teacher , you will guide children through their crucial early developmental steps: • EYFS Delivery: Design and implement child-led activities that foster communication, emotional growth, and physical development. • Continuous Provision: Maintain a stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment within a dynamic Birkenhead setting. • Progress Tracking: Conduct regular formative assessments to monitor baseline progress and support individual learning journeys. • Parental Engagement: Build warm, collaborative relationships with families to ensure smooth transitions into primary education. Who We Are Looking For • Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent early years teaching credential. • Specialist experience as an Early Years Teacher with thorough knowledge of EYFS statutory frameworks. • A strong commitment to child-centered learning and ongoing professional education and training . • An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to process one through Academics).
