English Teacher • Day Rate: £168 - £232 per day • Location: Lancaster • Job Type: Full Time • September start Reed Education is seeking a dynamic English Teacher to join a school in Lancaster as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who has a strong knowledge of the curriculum and is committed to creating an engaging learning environment. Day-to-day of the role: • Deliver engaging and informative English lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 teaching experience would be an advantage. • Utilise strong subject knowledge to enhance student learning and engagement. • Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment. • Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students. • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent. • Recent relevant experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 is advantageous. • Excellent classroom practitioner with robust subject knowledge and classroom management skills. • Reliable, committed, and capable of working effectively with students. • Demonstrates qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills. • Good interpersonal skills; must be trustworthy, punctual, patient, and confident when working with children.
