About the role

English Teacher - Alternative Provision | Northwich | Temp to Perm | September Start Location: Northwich, Cheshire About the Role This isn't just a teaching role. We are urgently seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join an Alternative Provision in Northwich this September on a long term basis. You will be working with young people who benefit from a different approach to learning students with high SEMH needs , many of whom have experienced challenges in mainstream education or require a more tailored setting to help them thrive. Here, you won't just teach English. You'll rebuild confidence, restore belief, and help young people rediscover what they are capable of. The Setting You will teach KS3-KS4 learners in small, carefully supported groups, with clear behaviour structures in place and a highly experienced team working alongside you. The curriculum is thoughtfully adapted so learners can access success and make meaningful progress. Every day brings variety, and every step forward matters. You'll be joining a welcoming, supportive team that believes every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed. Together, you'll build positive relationships, celebrate progress of every size, and create an environment where learners feel safe, valued, and ready to achieve. The Impact You'll Make This is the kind of role that reconnects you with why you became a teacher in the first place. You'll have the opportunity to make a real, visible difference every single day watching young people rebuild their confidence, discover their potential, and experience success in English that they may never have thought possible. It's a role that allows you to teach in a way that is creative, responsive, and genuinely meaningful, where relationships and understanding sit at the heart of everything you do. This isn't about ticking boxes or simply delivering lessons. It's about the moments that stay with you-the breakthrough, the spark of understanding, the smile when a learner proudly says, "I get it now." What You'll Receive • Small group teaching (typically 1:3-1:6 ) • A highly supportive, SEMH-trained staff team • Strong leadership with consistent behaviour systems already in place • The opportunity to make a lasting impact on young people's lives • Ongoing support from Simply Education throughout your placement Who We're Looking For We're looking for a English Teacher who believes that every learner deserves the chance to succeed. Whether you already have experience in Alternative Provision or are looking to bring your passion and skills into a more rewarding environment, you'll be joining a school where your work genuinely matters and where you'll be supported to make a lasting difference. Apply Today If you're ready to inspire, support and change lives through Maths, we'd love to hear from you. Helen Davies Simply Education - Nantwich Office 01270 382101
