The Role Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 opportunities available in some schools). Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential. Assess, monitor, and support student progress through effective feedback and differentiated teaching. Contribute to the wider school community, including parents' evenings, departmental meetings, and extracurricular activities where appropriate. What We're Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. A degree in English or a related subject. A passion for English and a commitment to delivering outstanding teaching. Strong classroom management and communication skills. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
