The Role As a Food Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging, hands-on lessons across KS3 and KS4. You’ll support students in developing practical cooking skills, understanding food science and nutrition, and promoting healthy lifestyles. Key responsibilities include: • Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4 • Delivering practical cooking lessons alongside food theory • Promoting food hygiene, safety, and health & safety standards • Supporting students’ practical, evaluative, and nutritional understanding • Planning differentiated lessons to meet a range of abilities • Managing food rooms, equipment, and resources effectively • Working collaboratively within the Design Technology department The School This secondary school offers a supportive and structured environment with a strong focus on practical learning.
