Position: French Teacher Location: Nottingham Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 French Teaching Role in a Faith Secondary School A well-regarded faith secondary school in Nottingham is seeking to appoint a French Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from September. This is a full-time role within a supportive and values-led school that places strong emphasis on academic achievement, cultural understanding, and high-quality language teaching. French is a valued subject within the school, with students encouraged to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing while gaining a deeper appreciation of francophone cultures. About the Role You will teach French across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ communication skills and linguistic confidence. Students will build vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, translation, and conversational fluency through a range of interactive and structured learning activities. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level French examinations, supporting them in developing strong language skills, cultural awareness, and exam confidence. You will work collaboratively within a successful MFL department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
