Geography Teacher – Full-Time Long-Term Opportunity Geography Teacher Cambridgeshire September 2026 Start Full-Time | Long-Term Role £150 - £250 per day (dependent on experience) REED Education are delighted to be working in partnership with a 'Good' Ofsted-rated secondary school in Cambridgeshire to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher for a full-time, long-term position commencing in September 2026 . This thriving secondary school is recognised for its supportive culture, strong academic standards, and commitment to ensuring every student reaches their full potential. The successful candidate will join a welcoming Humanities department with a passion for delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity about the world around us. The Role As a Geography Teacher, you will: • Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Encourage students to develop a deeper understanding of physical and human geography. • Plan, prepare and assess lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities. • Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement. • Promote independent learning and critical thinking skills. • Contribute positively to the wider Humanities department and school community. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Have experience teaching Geography within a secondary school environment. • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills. • Be passionate about inspiring young people and fostering a love of learning. • Have excellent communication and organisational skills. • Be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour.
