The successful candidate will join a welcoming Humanities department with a passion for delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity about the world around us. The Role As a Geography Teacher, you will: • Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Encourage students to develop a deeper understanding of physical and human geography. • Plan, prepare and assess lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities. • Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement. • Promote independent learning and critical thinking skills. • Contribute positively to the wider Humanities department and school community. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Have experience teaching Geography within a secondary school environment. • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills. • Be passionate about inspiring young people and fostering a love of learning. • Have excellent communication and organisational skills. • Be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour.
