Teacher of Geography We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Geography to join our thriving Humanities department. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspirational teacher to foster a love of Geography, helping students to understand the world around them while developing their knowledge of both physical and human geography. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring young people to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver engaging and ambitious Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to think critically about global issues and the changing world in which they live. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a broad, challenging and inclusive curriculum that enables all students to make strong progress. You will use assessment effectively to support learning, maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour, and contribute positively to the continued success of the Humanities faculty and the wider school community. We are seeking a teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or who is on track to achieve it, together with excellent subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Geography. You will be an effective communicator who builds positive relationships with students and colleagues, embraces collaborative working and is committed to continually developing your teaching practice. Most importantly, you will share our ambition to provide an outstanding education and inspire every student to achieve their very best.
