About the role

An independent school in the West Midlands is seeking to appoint a Geography Teacher to join its department from September. This full-time role offers the opportunity to teach within an academically ambitious school that values enquiry, fieldwork, and global awareness. About the Role You will teach Geography across KS3, KS4, and KS5, covering physical and human geography topics with strong emphasis on fieldwork, data skills, and current global issues. Small class sizes allow for close support of individual students. Key Responsibilities • Teach Geography across KS3, KS4, and KS5 • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Geography examinations • Plan and lead fieldwork in line with exam board requirements • Develop students' skills in data analysis, mapping, and enquiry • Provide detailed feedback to support coursework and exam preparation • Contribute to enrichment activities such as field trips or guest speakers The School Environment This independent school offers excellent resources, small teaching groups, and a culture that values academic curiosity and independent thought.
