About the role

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join one of our partner schools The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic growth. The role will initially start on a supply basis but with a possibility of turning into a permanent role. Duties • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. • Assess and evaluate student performance through regular testing and feedback. • Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and respect. • Collaborate with other educators and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects. • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behaviour. • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and any concerns. • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. • Uphold school policies and contribute to a positive school culture. Experience • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is essential. • Previous experience in a teaching role is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
