History Teacher – Derbyshire, DE75 (QTS Required) Location: Derbyshire, DE75 Contract Type: Temp to perm
Start Date: April 2026
Pay Rate: £150–£230 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Qualification: QTS required

Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well-respected secondary school in Derby to recruit a dedicated History Teacher for a full-time position starting April 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled History educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS4 and potentially History at KS5. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver the KS3 & KS4 History curriculum, with KS5 teaching available if experienced. * Plan, prepare, and assess History lessons in line with department policies * Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions * Contribute to department improvement planning History * Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents’ evenings as required The Ideal Candidate: * Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching History experience in a UK secondary setting * Is passionate about Business education and student achievement * Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills * Demonstrates a collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life Why apply through Education Personnel?
