Are you a passionate and dedicated History Teacher looking for a new opportunity this September?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Yeovil to recruit an enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team from September 2026 . This is an exciting opportunity to teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a supportive school with a strong commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
The Role
•
Teach engaging and inspiring History lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
•
Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
•
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
•
Support pupils to achieve their academic potential.
•
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate
•
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
•
Has experience teaching History in a UK secondary school (ECTs are also encouraged to apply).
•
Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
•
Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to delivering high-quality education.
•
Has a current enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
