KS1 Teacher – Derby, DE1 Location: Derby, DE1 Contract Type: Full Time / Temp to Perm Start Date: September 2026 Pay Rate: £130–£250 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities) Experience: Minimum 6 months' teaching experience in a UK primary school Overview Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Derby to recruit a dedicated KS1 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to support pupils during a crucial stage of their academic and personal development. Key Responsibilities * Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum * Support pupils in developing key literacy, numeracy, and social skills * Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities to meet individual pupil needs * Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment * Monitor progress and implement interventions where required * Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff * Attend staff meetings, CPD sessions, and parents' evenings as required The Ideal Candidate * Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching experience in a UK primary setting * Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Has a strong understanding of KS1 curriculum requirements * Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills * Is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential * Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues Why Apply Through Education Personnel?
