We are looking for a number of Teaching Assistants to provide support within our Primary schools in Southend and the surrounding areas. Classroom duties: Working to ensure the students receive an inclusive education with 1:1 support, based on their individual social, educational and intellectual needs. Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition. Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day. Communicate their knowledge and understanding of students to other school staff Demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours consistent with the role and in line with the expectations Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities. Provide teaching and learning support including the use of appropriate technical resources Support students with SEN and additional needs Typical hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 3:30pm If you would like more information, please apply and one of our dedicated primary consultants will be in contact to discuss the role further.
