Learning Support Assistant – Harborne, Birmingham Do you have a strong desire to improve children’s lives and help them reach their goals? Are you passionate about supporting education and making a real difference in student progress? Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming community primary school in Harborne. This full-time position begins asap, working in an on-site resource base from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. The ideal Learning Support Assistant will be committed to supporting the class teacher, inspiring students to achieve their best, and fostering a safe, encouraging learning environment. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: * Motivate and encourage students to achieve beyond their comfort zones. * Support children who require additional help with classroom tasks. * Assist the class teacher with lesson planning, preparation, and administrative tasks. * Provide one-to-one and small-group support tailored to individual learning needs. * Maintain an inclusive, organised, and welcoming classroom environment. * Participate in relevant meetings, training sessions, and school activities To be successful as a Learning Support Assistant, you will ideally have: * Previous experience supporting children within a classroom environment. * A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and Key Stages. * A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential. * Excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities. * Good literacy and numeracy skills. * An enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
