About the role

We are seeking to a point a learning support assisant who is enthusiastic, energetic and caring to support children within the classroom and work alongside them during the whole school day. It will be essential that you work closely with the class teacher and can adapt work planned to suit the specific needs of the children you are working with. A calm, patient and consistent manner is essential, and experience of working with children with behaviour needs or SEND would be beneficial. Hours are 8.30am till 3.15pm 5 days a week during term time. This will include 5 INSET days. Holtsmere End Junior School is committed to safeguarding children and the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
