Nursery Manager • Annual Salary: £38,000 • Location: Godalming • Job Type: Full-time/Part-time (20 or 40 hours per week) We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our vibrant nursery in Godalming. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in early years education and has previously managed or led a room. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children. Day-to-day of the role: • Oversee the daily management and operations of the nursery. • Ensure high standards of care and education according to EYFS guidelines. • Lead and manage staff, including recruitment, training, and development. • Maintain effective communication with parents and staff. • Implement health and safety policies and ensure compliance. • Manage budgets and ensure financial efficiency. • Organise and participate in events and activities. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Level 3 CACHE or equivalent qualification in early years education. • Proven experience as a room leader or in managing a room within a nursery setting. • Strong leadership and people management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures. • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing demands.
