We are seeking a dedicated Level 6 qualified Nursery Room Leader to join our welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Accrington. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our nursery provision, creating a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop a love of learning from the very start of their educational journey. The Role As Nursery Room Leader, you will: • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the nursery room. • Deliver high-quality Early Years education in line with the EYFS framework. • Plan and provide engaging learning experiences that support children's development. • Monitor, assess, and track children's progress, identifying next steps in learning. • Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals. • Lead, support, and motivate nursery staff to maintain outstanding practice. • Ensure safeguarding, welfare, and health & safety standards are consistently met. • Promote an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported. Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: • A Level 6 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, Education or a related field . • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting. • Experience leading or supervising a nursery team. • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development. • Excellent communication and organisational skills. • A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development. • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
