Nursery Room Leader - Baby Room - TE63308 Location: Henley-on-Thames Hours: 40 hours per week (preferably over 5 days) Salary: From £31,000 per year We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic nursery room leader to join our welcoming nursery in the beautiful town of Henley-on-Thames. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate nursery room leader who enjoys supporting babies during the most important stage of their early development while leading a dedicated and caring team. As our new nursery room leader, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our Baby Room, ensuring every child receives the highest standard of care, learning and development. You will create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where babies can thrive, while building strong partnerships with parents and carers. The successful nursery room leader will be confident in leading by example, supporting colleagues and maintaining excellent standards throughout the room. You will inspire your team to deliver outstanding early years practice and ensure all safeguarding, health and safety, and statutory requirements are met. We are looking for a nursery room leader who has a genuine passion for working with children under two years of age, excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. You should hold a relevant Early Years qualification and have previous experience working within a nursery setting, ideally in a leadership role. As a nursery room leader, your responsibilities will include planning engaging activities that support each child's individual development, carrying out observations and assessments, mentoring team members, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the Baby Room is welcoming, organised and fully compliant with current regulations.
