About the Role: Cover People are currently recruiting for a PE Teacher to join an oversubscribed, welcoming secondary academy (11-16) based in Bury, Greater Manchester starting from September 2026 for a full term as a minimum! This position allows you to make a positive impact in a long term role, delivering engaging cover lessons to 11-16 year olds. ECT 1's and ECT 2's will be allocated a supportive mentor to complete AT LEAST 1 full term. M1-M6 Teachers will be paid to scale starting from day one. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality teaching in line with national curriculum standards• Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment• Support the academic and personal development of all learners Requirements:• QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification• Experience teaching KS3 & GCSE PE & General Cover• Strong classroom and behaviour management• A passion for teaching and pupil progress• Right to work in the UK Why Join Cover People?
