PE Teacher Gloucester September 2026 Start Temporary Contract - Initial 2 Months £145 - £195 per day (dependent on experience) We are currently recruiting for a passionate and motivated PE Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Gloucester from September. This is a full-time temporary position for an initial two-month period, with the potential for extension for the right candidate. The Role Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 Inspire students to participate in sport and physical activity Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the curriculum Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management Contribute positively to the wider life of the PE department The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Passion for promoting health, fitness and student well-being Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues What We Offer Competitive daily rates of £145 - £195 Dedicated consultant support throughout the assignment Opportunity to work within a supportive and welcoming school Potential for the role to be extended beyond the initial contract period Whether you're an experienced PE Teacher or an ECT looking to gain valuable experience, we'd love to hear from you.
