Preschool Room Leader

We're looking for a passionate Preschool Room Leader to inspire our team, prepare our 35s for school, and build a long-term career with us. Why you'll love working with us: • £33,000 salary + £500 welcome bonus (paid on successful completion of probation) • Real progression we're opening a second setting, with genuine pathways to Deputy and Manager roles • A team that's listened to your ideas shape how we run our rooms • Generous childcare discount for your own family • Investment in your development CPD support, paid training, and pathways to Level 4/5/6 if you want them • Currently Good-rated with strong foundations we're aiming high under Ofsted's new framework, and you'll be central to that journey • Croydon location with on-site parking and excellent transport links What you'll do: • Lead and inspire your preschool team to deliver outstanding care and learning for our 35 year olds • Plan and deliver an inclusive, EYFS-led curriculum that prepares children confidently for school • Build warm, trusted relationships with parents and key children • Mentor and develop colleagues, modelling best practice • Maintain high standards across safeguarding, health & safety, and record-keeping • Support the senior team in the smooth running of the setting What you'll bring: • Level 3 qualification minimum in Childcare or Early Years • Strong working knowledge of the EYFS and the new Ofsted framework • Experience with the 35 age group at least 2 years post-qualification • A solid grasp of school readiness phonics foundations, early maths, social and emotional development • Confidence leading or mentoring others formal Room Leader experience is a plus, but we'll consider strong practitioners ready to step up • A genuine love of Early Years and a desire to grow with us The details: • Location: Croydon (in-person) • Hours: Full-time, permanent • Pay: £33,000 per annum + £500 welcome bonus • Start date: As soon as possible Ready to lead a room you'll be proud of?
