About the Role As an Early Career Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress, and creating a positive learning environment while continuing your professional development through a structured ECT programme. Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum. • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. • Assess and monitor pupil progress. • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils. • Establish positive behaviour expectations and classroom routines. • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers. • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development. • Engage fully with the school's ECT support and development programme. Requirements: Essential • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS by September 2026. • Eligible to begin or continue the Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction programme. • Strong understanding of effective teaching and learning practices. • Excellent communication and organisational skills. • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. • Right to work in the UK. • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). • Available full-time from September 2026.
