The Role – What You’ll Do • Deliver engaging, rigorous Psychology lessons at KS4–KS5. • Apply assessment strategies and feedback to support excellent academic progress. • Enrich the curriculum through research projects, guest speakers, conferences, and wider reading. • Contribute to schemes of work, shared resources, and exam preparation activities. • Foster a positive learning environment with high expectations for behaviour and academic curiosity. • Support the wider life of the school, including tutoring, trips, and Sixth Form events. Person Specification Essential • Degree in Psychology or a related discipline. • QTS/PGCE (or equivalent) with KS4/KS5 teaching experience. • Strong subject knowledge across core Psychology topics and research methods. • Evidence of effective teaching and strong communication skills. • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education. Desirable • Experience teaching A-Level Psychology. • Evidence of strong exam outcomes and student progression. • Experience supporting research skills and independent learning. • Ability to contribute to related subjects (e.g., Sociology) is advantageous but not required.
