The Opportunity A highly respected and inclusive academy in Leicester is seeking a passionate Religious Education Teacher to join its Humanities team from January 2026. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to teach across a wide range of abilities and age groups within a caring, forward-thinking environment that values individuality, respect and academic curiosity. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a teacher who: • Holds QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification • Has strong subject knowledge in Religious Education, Philosophy and Ethics • Can deliver engaging lessons that encourage reflection, discussion and understanding of diverse beliefs and values • Uses assessment and feedback effectively to promote progress and confidence in all learners • Works collaboratively and demonstrates flexibility, empathy and a commitment to inclusive education Experience teaching in specialist or inclusive settings, or adapting materials to meet varied learning needs, would be an advantage.
