Nursery Room Leader £14.00 - £14.50 per Hour | 37 Hours per Week | 4-Day Working Week Level 3 Early Years Qualification Required Unlike many larger settings, the nursery operates with a much smaller daily attendance - This allows practitioners to build meaningful relationships with children and families while delivering high-quality, personalised care and education. The nursery primarily operates as one large, engaging learning environment, alongside a dedicated baby room. This creates a unique opportunity for a Room Leader who enjoys variety and is confident supporting children across different stages of their early years journey. What We're Looking For • Level 3 Early Years qualification • Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or experienced Nursery Practitioner • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework • Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures • Excellent communication and leadership skills • A nurturing, child-focused approach What's On Offer • £14.00 - £14.50 per hour • 37-hour week across just 4 days • Full-time, permanent position • Smaller daily occupancy for more meaningful interactions • Supportive and friendly management team • Ongoing training and professional development • Opportunity to lead within a well-established nursery • Positive and collaborative working environment Key Responsibilities • Lead the day-to-day running of the main nursery room • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS • Plan engaging activities that support children's learning and development • Support and mentor colleagues within the room • Complete observations, assessments, and learning records • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment • Ensure safeguarding and nursery standards are consistently maintained Reference: WILL239155/JC INDCHI
