Room Leader £32,000 per year | Level 3 | Full Time | 40 Hours per Week | 4 or 5 Days Per Week Are you ready to take the next step in your early years career? This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 3 qualified Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery that is passionate about providing children with the very best start in life. This service is looking for a confident and inspiring Room Leader to lead a dedicated team - The successful candidate will play an important role in creating a positive atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to develop through play, exploration, and discovery. Children benefit from a broad curriculum, helping to inspire curiosity and build confidence from an early age. The nursery also offers spacious indoor learning environments alongside a rich outdoor space where children can learn, explore, and grow in a safe and engaging setting. What We’re Looking For • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent). • Previous experience as a Room Leader or a senior Nursery Practitioner ready to step into a leadership role. • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements. • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional early years education. Room Leader Responsibilities • Lead and inspire your room team to provide outstanding care and learning experiences. • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework. • Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through child-led and adult-guided experiences. • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment. • Support, mentor, and develop practitioners within the room. • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
