Room Leader - £30,000–£34,000 – Islington
Daily life in this nursery centres on understanding each child as an individual, with learning shaped through observation, routine, and meaningful interaction. Thoughtfully arranged classrooms, a dedicated baby sleep room, and areas for messy and soft play create a setting where children can move naturally between activities.
As a Room Leader, you’ll take ownership of your room, leading your team while staying closely involved in children’s development and building strong, consistent relationships with parents.
Before You Apply
• This role requires recent experience as a Room Leader or senior practitioner in a nursery.
• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) is essential.
• You must be confident leading a room and making day-to-day decisions independently.

What You’ll Need
• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
• Experience working as a Room Leader or similar senior role in a nursery
• Strong understanding of EYFS and child development tracking

What You’ll Do
• Lead the daily running of your room, maintaining consistent routines
• Plan and deliver activities aligned with EYFS and individual learning plans

• Support and guide staff within the room to maintain quality standards
• Ensure safeguarding, safety, and compliance requirements are met
