Role Details • Start Date: September 2026 • Location: Fulham, London • Position: Room Leader • Contract: Full-time, Permanent • Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday - varied shift patterns • Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Benefits Include • Generous holiday allowance including bank holidays • Additional Christmas closure period • Staff bonus and reward schemes (£1000+) • Supportive leadership and collaborative team culture • Excellent career progression opportunities Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage a nursery room, ensuring the highest standards of care and education • Support, motivate, and mentor Early Years Practitioners within the room • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework • Monitor children's learning and development, ensuring accurate observations and assessments The Ideal Candidate Will • Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or above) • Have previous experience working as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or experienced Early Years Practitioner ready to step up • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving and highly regarded nursery in Fulham that truly invests in both its children and staff.
