The Snapshot • Location: Godalming, Surrey (Accessible via A3 and South Western Railway) • Salary: Surrey Pay Grade (Competitive) • Contract: Full-time, Permanent (Year-round) • Requirement: Enhanced DBS and a clean driving license preferred for school vehicle use. Key Responsibilities • Facilities Management: Working closely with the Site Manager to monitor heating, lighting, and ventilation systems (BMS). • Health & Safety: Ensuring all walkways are safe and that the school meets all COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations. • Site Improvement: Assisting in the decoration and refurbishment of classrooms during school holiday periods. • Contractor Liaison: Supervising external tradespeople and ensuring they adhere to school safety protocols. Candidate Profile • Technical Knowledge: An understanding of building systems or a background in a trade (e.g., electrical or plumbing) is a plus. • Physically Active: This role involves manual handling, working at heights (ladders), and extensive movement across the site. • Organized: Ability to manage a digital ticketing system for maintenance requests.
