Science Teacher with QTS – KS3 to KS5 – Private School – Up to £52,000
Join a private school where classes are smaller and there’s a strong focus on enabling students to succeed and helping them reach their full potential. You’ll teach Science across KS3 to KS5, including GCSE and A Level, with the time and classroom control to deliver practical work and explore subject content in depth.
Before You Apply
• This role requires Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Applicants must have recent experience teaching Science from KS3 through to KS5.
• This position is not suitable for unqualified teachers or those without UK classroom experience at this level.

What You’ll Need

• A recognised Science degree or relevant Science qualification
• Additional subject specialism within Biology, Chemistry or Physics

• Plan and deliver Science lessons across KS3 to KS5
• Prepare students for GCSE and A Level examinations
• Assess, track and report on pupil progress
• Manage practical laboratory sessions safely and effectively
• Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and academic performance
