Science Teacher – Full-Time Long-Term Opportunity
Science Teacher Cambridgeshire September 2026 Start Full-Time | Long-Term Role £150 - £250 per day (dependent on experience)
REED Education are delighted to be working in partnership with a 'Good' Ofsted-rated secondary school in Cambridgeshire to recruit a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026 .
This welcoming and well-resourced school has a strong reputation within the local community, with a supportive leadership team that is committed to both staff development and student success. The successful candidate will join a collaborative Science department where innovation, high standards, and a love for learning are encouraged.
The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire students to develop curiosity and enthusiasm for Science.
• Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department and wider school team.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
• Possess strong classroom management skills and excellent subject knowledge.
• Be committed to raising achievement and inspiring young people.
• Have a positive, proactive approach and excellent communication skills.
• Be able to quickly build strong relationships with students and staff.
