A supportive and well-established SEMH secondary school in Southwark is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from September . This rewarding opportunity is ideal for a Science Teacher who is passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful Science Teacher will deliver engaging, practical and differentiated lessons that inspire curiosity, build confidence and help pupils achieve their full potential. The Role As a Science Teacher , you will: • Teach Science across KS3 and KS4. • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs. • Foster positive relationships that promote confidence, resilience and academic progress. • Monitor student attainment and implement targeted interventions. • Work closely with pastoral teams and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for every learner. • Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment. The Ideal Candidate The successful Science Teacher will have: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. • Experience teaching Science within a secondary school. • Strong behaviour management skills and a good understanding of inclusive teaching practices. • Excellent communication and organisational skills. • A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
