Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for a new role from September?
Monarch Education are working with a secondary school in the Midsomer Norton area who are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from the start of the new academic year.
The role
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping pupils develop their knowledge and understanding across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about inspiring young people, promoting curiosity and supporting pupils to achieve their potential in Science.
You will be:
* Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
* Delivering engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics
* Supporting pupils with scientific knowledge, enquiry skills and practical understanding
* Planning and delivering lessons in line with the curriculum where required
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Promoting a safe, organised and positive learning environment
* Encouraging curiosity, confidence and independent thinking
* Working closely with department staff and senior leaders
* Following safeguarding procedures, health and safety expectations and school policies at all times
We are looking for someone who is:
* A qualified teacher with QTS
* Experienced or confident teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting
* Confident teaching across KS3 and KS4
* Passionate about Science and pupil progress
* Flexible, reliable and professional
* Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff quickly
* Calm and confident with classroom management
* Organised, proactive and adaptable
* Committed to supporting pupil progress, confidence and wellbeing
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Experience teaching Science in a UK school setting
* Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
* Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
* Right to work in the UK
* Willingness to complete registration, compliance and safeguarding checks
